MOMS is in need of one or two women to help coordinate our two main social events of the year: Session Kick-off and Annual Christmas Party. Below is a summary of the role. Summary:
Social Coordinator –
q Responsible for coordinating minimally 2 events/ activities a year including beginning of the school year for 8-week Session Kick-off (Pot-luck or Coffee Social) and Annual Christmas Party.
q May appoint a committee to assist in the planning of these events and will communicate accordingly with the appropriate Core Team Board members (MOMS Coordinator, Treasurer, Newsletter Editor, etc.).
q Will communicate events with Core Team including Coordinator of Marketing & Publicity for planning details and to determine marketing.
q Prepare invitations for the two main social events of the year and mail to membership list prior to event with RSVP instructions.
q May also opt to coordinate monthly MOMS Night Outs or Coffee Socials with members of MOMS).
