Summary:
Throughout Year
q Pray for and affirm all MOMS Participants, Facilitators, Prayer Sponsors, while encouraging ongoing hospitality and developing a community of women praying for the spiritual success of the ministry as part of the church community.
q May assist in preparing the Opening & Closing Prayers for Core Team meetings, events, retreats and Celebration of New Beginnings.
q Arrange and coordinate for a liturgy, prayer service or annual Prayer Retreats at the end of the year for all mothers in the Holy Family community and/or the entire MOMS community.
q Pray for prayer requests received from members of MOMS (possibly keeping a prayer journal of all prayer requests.)
q Share appropriate prayer requests and/or praise reports with the entire MOMS community by communicating with Newsletter Editor and Membership Coordinator.
q When appropriate, make follow-up calls to the person requesting prayer.
q Coordinating with Family Focus Hospitality team as needed to organize delivery of hot meals for new Moms, or members that have an extended illness, surgery, or family emergency; may coordinate other ideas such as baby “welcome gifts” or prayer bouquets in lieu of hot meals.
